"Thank you." Elwing said in a knowledgable tone. As they came into the city, they were approached by the guard. "Yep! All in a days work!" she grinned and made a peace sign, grinning madly. She blushed a little as Ocato gave up any request he could of recieved, for bread for her. Little Elwing shyly looked at the ground, shuffling her shoes. "Um, is there going to be a party?" she finally spoke up, looking up at the guard.

The guard looked around and raised his eyebrows. "Well of coarse! Everyone's invited! Right here in the town center...a bonfire will be lit, song and dance, playing, everyone will be welcome to join in the festivities! ..." the guard said with a heart luagh.

"Yay!" she cheered. Her plan was to take home a big sack of food from the refreshments, and perhaps talk to some of her village friends, even though they were adults. She looked up at Ocato. "Ya going to stway?"

He looked about and raised his eyebrows. "I...have...-" he stopped as the guard cut him off. He really had to leave. He wanted to get out of this two bit village. He didnt want to stay one bit. A party is a thing that he could experience some other time. He just couldnt stand being the hero, he was a crook! Not a hero!.

The guard interupted Ocato quickly. "Of coarse ey is! If he didnt it would be a crime!" the guard said nudging Ocato in the chest with his elbow, reminding him of what the guard had just helped him with. Maybe this way he would find sense before carelessness.

Ocato looked at the guard and sighed. "Yes of coarse! " he said saying what he should say. He was still debating to leave secretly though. He looked down the street, they even began preparing the food.

"YAY!" Cheered little Elwing, she suddenly clung to Ocato like a leach. "We can play ball, and then we can eat, and then, and then-.....uhhh...and then.." she released Ocato and had to think. "And dance! Yeah!" She said with a little jump, thrusting a fist into the air. "Ocato is my new best frwiend." she giggled, clinging to the theif's leg again.

...Ocato looked about in terror. He wasnt a nice guy!? he was a criminal for gosh sakes! "...Sure..." he said in a kind of annoyed tone to Elwing. He thought if he should whack the girl over the head with a big board and run away now well he had the chance but that guard looked pretty intimidating.

Elwing chuckled and then grinned mischievously, she knew that Ocato HATED to be among the goodies. She squeased his leg harder. "And you'll have lots of fun, riiiiiiiiight?" Only Ocato could see her face, as she looked up at him.
Already, everything was being brought out and music began to play, even children games had started. "Oh look! It's starting now! Come Ocato!" she said quickly, grabbing his hand, more like squeazing it to death and led him over to potato sack game. Elwing grabbed a sack and threw it at Ocato's face and one for herself. Within a second she was already in her sack. "COme on! COme on! Let's go!"

He looked aggrivated upon all extents. He put on the potato sack annoyed out of his mind. He got ready to race her. He sighed and let the fun begin... fun ...riiiiiight. He looked around and wondered if he could escape through the forest at night time. He wondered how many ways he could get past the little girl without her spotting him or noticing him.

The gun was sent off, and the race began. Within a second the smallest child, Elwing was already at the finish line, cheering. "YAY! I won! I won!" She recieved her reward, a bag of candy. "Mmmmm....this'll last me for a hour, hehe." she giggled, turning to see how Ocato did. "YAY! Go Ocato!!" she cheered him on, no matter how angry he looked.

He grunted under his breath several times. Little fragments of cuss words could be made out as his eyes lit up with fire. He was pist out of his mind..."Ahhh... Elwing...I ...have to go..." he said slowly trying not to hurt her feeling's as much as he could.

LIttle Elwing's happy little expression disapeared. "B-but..." her eyes got big and round. Suddenly her expression changed as she smiled happily and waved at him. "Well okee, bye-bye Ocato-san!" she said gleefully.

He wasnt expecting her to just let her leave like that but he DID NOT question it. He looked about and ran out of the town as fast as he could keep himself running. He ran and ran, then finally got tired and climbed up a tree and made himself comfortable in the big branch . He looked about at the sky witch was full of a dark evening glaze of red. He slowly slipt off into sleep underneath the blood filled sky .

Sneakily, little Elwing had a secret stashed up her sleeve. The little stinker followed Ocato, using his foot tracks as a route to where he was. It wasn't long after when she found the theif sleeping up the tree, the blood filled sky was turning purple in the twilight.
Elwing looked up the tall tree and used her nimb little fingers and flat sandles, and tried to climb the tree, but alas her posture was too short and she couldn't even reach the first branch. The little elfing fell on her bottom. She glared up at the tree, and the shadowy figure of a sleeping Ocato. Another idea formed in her head as she mischeivous grinned. Tip-toeing behind a large tree and bush. She took out her bow and arrow. Steadily she aimed it at Ocato, and with perfect concentration, released the arrow. SHHHONK! The arrow was pinned into the tree next to Ocato's rump.
