Gadel listened to his name and it didnt surprise him. He looked around slowly listening to Locke's question. He thought about it now , the first time in a long time. "it has been about ten years now...Why?" he said asking concerned with what locke had on his mind at that time. He knew the area well enough to find the city with his eyes closed.

"Just trying to make conversation... I'm sorry, I'm not very good at it." The elf replied, shrugging. He motions on towards the village itself.
"I don't often talk to people, and everyone seems to take it a bit off when I try, so I don't even bother anymore, really..."
Locke marched over the stone cobbles and grass, still hefting Gadel's bag on his shoulder. He was silent from then on, as he said not bothering to try and start a conversation anymore.
He was breathing a bit heavily after the short walk with the heavy pack on his shoulder. He set the back down at the outskirts of the town and glanced over the hovels and buildings there.
"If you can find your way from here, I'll take my leave then..."

Gadel said with a stern face.

Locke.. actuyally smiled. It was hard to notice, but there was just a little smirk on the sides of his lips. The elf shrugs a bit, "I don't know if that would be for the best for you, my path has been one stained with blood for years now, it is a dangerous road I am travelling these days."
The Crusader turned to look at Gadel, his head quirking just a little bit, staring at the merchant with hard grey eyes, eyes that have seen much. "I would... appreciate the company, for certain... But I have no way to truly guarantee your safety... or even that my path will take you places you wish to go as well."

Gadel knew it was dangerous but it was better to have a company than just by his lonesome. He nodded to locke as he said it wouldnt be safe. "I know, i live my life by cuations though so i think il be fine... i can be quite helpful in a situation of need!" he said kind of luaghing to himself. " he nodded and got ready to head out. "Well you lead the way Sir..." he stated quickly getting ready for the journey ahead. His Body was kind of fat and stubby but he could still move himself about, he wore basic pilgrim like clothes that merchants only had.

Locke nodded and turned, continuing on at an easy enough pace for the man to stay with him. The elf didn't talk much, preferring the brooding silence of the road, the whisper of the wind through the grass and trees. He was aware that Gadel had just been through an ordeal and so was quite willing to slow his pace and rest should the man have to take a breather. He was in no rush, after all.
Eventually along the road, he divulged that he had no real goal... Locke was simply wandering the roads of Kulag, searching out the old temples and ancients crypts of the dead, to see them and ponder on their existance and pay homage to the spirits of the dead. His dark clothing stood out from others, even as they walked through the crowds of the temple-city, drawing eyes at times, but none would dare bother him.
He stopped for a short moment at a general styore to purchase some supplies, just some trail rations and a skin of wine for the road. Gently setting the items in a small pack, he slung them over his shoulder and began to head for the outskirts of the Temple City, leaving behind the riffraff and their scavenging ways, to head to another city, to see more of this world before it was destroyed, to pay hommage to the lives of old, long since dead...
To find a purpose...

Gadel tried to keep up with locke's stern pace that was travelling at a speed to influencual that he started at the same speed to show Locke he was strong enough to keep up. He pulled out his map and studied it slowly. "The next village is coming up here, the name is Doova , its a peaceful town." Gadel said slowly looking about the road which they traveled, within the plains which were bare of much plant life. The only real enviroment looking surrounding's were the rocks and such around them that just flooded the view normal on a regular basis.

"Amazing that this place is even here... must be a horrible way to survive trying to scrape a living off the bare rocks."
The elfen Crusader continues on, booted feet crunching on the cobblestones, armour and blade clinking softly as he goes. Knowing that Gadel is a bit on the weak side he keeps his pace a bit slower than he usually does, and pauses often enough for the man to catch his breath and rest a little. While he'd like to move on quickly, he really isn't in so much of a rush as to have Gadel run into the ground. "Doova... I haven't passed through here before, I don't think. Anything of interest that you know of, Gadel?"

Gadel Huffed , puffed , and wheezed his way down the road and nodded at Locke's question. He pulled on his tunic and adjusted his cloth. "Theres a Crazy Ol lady there... She wil' bite ya's a lil's..." he tried to utter out exhuasted. "They say she tells these tails of weapons... ...I havnt heard it myself, but my ol Comrade, he went insane trying to find it ...the weapons that is." the old wheezing man said as his fat belly flopped a little.
